The Buckeyes are now reported to have offered Urban Meyer the head coaching job. A few sources say it's pretty much a done deal and they're only waiting until after the loss to Michigan to formally announce it. Urban Meyer left his Florida program at the end of the 2010 season for health reasons. Now for him to sign with Ohio State only a year later is a giant slap in the face to the Gator faithful. During his tenure at Florida, Meyer recruited players with criminal records and 2.0 GPAs, he also refused to discipline players for anything from on the field eye gouging to off the field crimes. This hire by Ohio State says to me that they have learned nothing, they would still rather go after the guy with the wins... At any cost. It could be more costly than they could ever imagine.
